Just like everyone else, my laptop (unibody Macbook Pro) slips off the stand over the course of a few minutes to a few hours. To the point where I only have it on the stand when I'm sitting right next to it. Otherwise I take it off the stand and put it on the table. Basically a waste of money, I wouldn't buy this again or encourage others to buy it either.
Customer Review: Great product and fix for possible slippage
I've had this stand now for almost a month. It holds my MacBook Pro at a perfect angle for viewing, and the computer stays nice and cool. Since there has been several comments about laptops slipping down the supports on the Elevator, I simply placed 2 little velcro squares on the highest points of the elevator, and on the appropriate spots on the bottom of my MBP. There is no slippage and yet the laptop comes off the stand easily. Since the velcro is on the bottom of the laptop, no one ever sees it, even when it is not on the stand. I'm extremely happy with this product and with Amazon's service.
